THE HIVE ENRICHMENT CLASSES
Enrichment is provided private companies for an additional fee. Private enrichment programs are provided in three sessions. Students registering for private enrichment programs need to register with The Hive. The Hive provides enrichment students with a snack in the cafeteria 2:30 - 2:45. Teachers will pick students up from the cafeteria and return the students to the front desk after class for pick-up.
Atlanta Kicks
Fridays, 2:45-3:45 and Wednesday and Friday, 2:45 - 3:45. Karate teaches respect for others, as well as self-respect and discipline. Karate uses positive reinforcement and mentoring to help children learn patience and perseverance. For more information visit www.atlantakick.com
Chess
Chess Club is offered to all students after school each Wednesday from 2:45-3:45 in the cafeteria.
The Kids Drama Factory
Thursday 2:45 - 4:00. K - 5th grade students. The Kids' Drama Factory focuses on teaching theatrical skills games, exercises, and performance. For more information visit www.thedramafactory.org
Individual Music Classes & One-on-One Tutoring
Voice, piano, trumpet one-to-one classes are available through Ms. Megan, experienced teacher and professional performer, offers classes of various lengths. Arrange classes through Ms. Hodge. 678-522-5603. Individual tutoring is being arranged with several private instructors.
Arts & Crafts
Students wll learn art techniques through crafts with Ms. Lindsey. Ms. Lindsey is an art major at Georgia State University. Fun and learning at the same time.
Musical Journeys
Celebrate nature and music around the world as we explore music, poetryt, movement, and more! Whole body, hands-on, interactive musical activities encourage concentration, cooperation, and confidence.
Dance
Ms. Kimmee comes to us straight off tour with Beounce. She has extensive teaching experiece and we are thrilled to have her.
