Course Objectives
Students will gain beginner's knowledge of clay & pottery-making, exercising tactile skills, imagination, planning, and careful craftsmanship to create unique pieces that they will bring home to enjoy. Students will take home 3-5 pieces each including a pinch pot, a slab bowl, and a self-portrait mask
Teacher
Erin McIntosh is an Atlanta-based artist and potter. With over 15 years of ceramics experience and memberships at ceramics studios across the US, Erin is excited to merge her love of teaching with her life-long pursuit of clay artistry. A current studio member at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta, GA, Erin's works span from the functional and humble mug to ornate wall-hangings. Erin also co-owns McIntosh Field & Flower, a cut-flower business and animal rescue farm. Her love for flowers, clay, animals, and people are often expressed through her pieces.
